Mercedes has announced the pricing and specifications for the A-Class Saloon, which will be coming to the UK in 2019.
On sale now, prices start from £27,675 and the saloon is available in one of two trim levels – Sport and AMG Line.
Fitted with either the 180 d 1.5-litre diesel that produces 114bhp or the 1.3-litre 161bhp 200 petrol unit, the A-Class Saloon is fitted solely with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
As standard, models come with two seven-inch displays, including a central touchscreen with the new MBUX infotainment system, DAB radio, comfort suspension, 17-inch alloys, fabric upholstery and automatic two-zone climate control.
Active lane keeping assist, speed limit assist and keyless start are also included from the base level.
The AMG Line trim adds 18-inch alloy wheels, AMG-specific body styling, microfibre upholstery and a three-spoke steering wheel.
Further upgrades are available through the optional packages, with the £1,395 Executive package replacing the seven-inch touchscreen with a 10.25-inch unit and adding active park assist, heated front seats and electrically folding wing mirrors.

Priced at £2,395, the Premium equipment line includes all the upgrades from the Executive package as well as a 10.25-inch instrument screen to create a widescreen display across the dashboard, ambient lighting, keyless entry and start, plus an upgraded sound system.
Offering the highest specification, the £3,595 Premium Plus line improves on the Premium pack by adding electrically operated seats, multibeam LED headlights with adaptive highbeam and a panoramic sunroof.
The Advanced Navigation pack uses augmented reality on the satellite navigation to give the driver a clearer view of where to go, while also adding traffic sign assist. The pack costs £495 and is only available alongside one of the three upgrade packs.
Deliveries for the A-Class Saloon will begin in early 2019.
