The special edition of the pick-up comes with special graphics and a unique specification, with Mercedes also providing offers on other vehicles.

Mercedes has unveiled the limited-time Storm Edition of its X-Class pick-up, which comes with an improved specification and special exterior design especially for Black Friday.

As an enhancement over the top-spec Power model, the Storm Edition comes with the 250 d engine under the bonnet, which develops 188bhp and is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

To distinguish it from the top-spec Power edition, the Storm comes with black leather upholstery, the Comand Online infotainment system, roof rails, LED headlights, the parking package with 360-degree camera and 19-inch bi-colour alloy wheels.

It also comes with a tonneau cover, load bed liner and black styling bar, as well as lighting decals on the tailgate.

On sale November 23, customers are able to get the X-Class Storm Edition on contract hire for £449 per month plus £2,694 advance rental, with those buying the model also getting a two-hour off-road driving experience.

Those looking at X-Class models can also test the premium pick-up for 48 hours as part of an extended test drive offer.

Mercedes is also offering the Vito Sport with Sports Styling Pack as part of its Black Friday offers, with the people carrier available for £259 per month with £3,355 advance rental. It includes chrome sidebars and front grille, as well as grey branded decals.

Steve Bridge, Mercedes-Benz Vans UK managing director, said: “We are announcing our offers early in the run up to Black Friday because we understand that many businesses don’t stop moving, in particular over Black Friday, so we want to give them enough notice so that they are actually able to take advantage of these offers.”
