Nissan introduces new N-Tec special edition to its range

The versions feature styling tweaks and enhanced safety kit.

Nissan has announced a new N-Tec special edition, which is available on its best-selling Qashqai, X-Trail and Micra.

The new special editions, which are set to be sold in limited numbers, feature a unique look and equipment enhancements over the rest of the range.

Beginning with the Qashqai crossover – Nissan’s most popular model in the UK, and the sixth best-selling car overall in the UK – the N-Tec version adds black 19-inch alloy wheels and darkened LED headlights. On the inside it also gains Alcantara-trimmed seats, while also gaining the ProPilot semi-autonomous driving features, which are usually reserved for the top-spec Tekna versions. The Qashqai N-Tec is available from £26,475.

Next is the popular X-Trail – the largest SUV sold by Nissan in the UK. Available with five or seven seats, this N-Tec trim level comes with black 18-inch alloy wheels, a darkened grille and a gloss black styling kit. Door sill protectors have also been fitted, while ProPilot tech is fitted as well. Pricing for this version will be announced later this month.

The final N-Tec special edition is for the Micra, which again adds a black styling pack as well as 17-inch alloy wheels to the supermini. It’s based on the Acenta grade, and also adds privacy glass and front fog lights, with models starting from £16,995.

N-Tec models will be available to order from later in January.
