Mercedes has put the refreshed C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet models on sale, with prices for the fastback starting from £37,620 and £41,439 for the soft-top.

Available in one trim level – AMG Line – customers are also able to buy the models in the AMG C43 4Matic guise, which is fitted with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine.

Of the three other engines available for the C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet, the least powerful C 200 comes with the Mercedes EQ Boost system, which includes a 48-volt on-board electrical system with a belt-driven starter/alternator that adds 13bhp to the car’s output – totalling 182bhp.

Prospective buyers can also choose from the C 220d 2.0-litre diesel model with 192bhp or the C 300 petrol that produces 251bhp and 370Nm of torque.

Standard equipment for the AMG Line includes a 10.25-inch infotainment display, 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless start, high performance LED headlights, sports suspension and the mirror package – which adds power-folding mirrors. Cabriolet models also get the airscarf and aircap systems to help keep you warm with the roof down and reduce wind noise and turbulence.

Every model comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission as standard.
