Renault has announced pricing and specification for the latest version of the all-electric Zoe hatchback, with a new motor and design options now available.
Pricing for the electric hatch starts from £18,420 (excluding monthly battery rental) for the Dynamique Nav trim level fitted with the R110 motor, with order books now open.
To purchase a model with the battery already paid for, prices start from £24,020 – with the cost of the battery adding £5,600. If you choose to buy the vehicle but hire the cell, monthly battery costs are £59.
The 80 kWh R110 motor is derived from the previous R90 unit, which has 16bhp more but has the same real-world range of 186 miles.
This new version of the Zoe can get from 0-60mph in 11.7 seconds and can reach a top speed of 84mph.
To charge up to 80 per cent, the Zoe R110 takes one hour 40 minutes at a fast charging point, while the Q90 motor alternative takes just over an hour to charge to the same point.
