Skoda has released pricing for the new Monte Carlo version of its popular Fabia hatchback, which is available to order now from £14,645.
Building on the comprehensive standard equipment of the SE trim, the rally-inspired Fabia Monte Carlo, like the Yeti Monte Carlo, adds extra exterior styling and a sporty, eye-catching new interior.
The Monte Carlo edition features 16-inch Italia black alloys, alongside a back radiator grille and black door mirror caps, a rear body-colour spoiler, panoramic sunroof and exclusive Monte Carlo badging.
It also features front fog lights and LED daytime running lights as standard, along with Skoda’s ‘sunset glass’ tinted rear windows, while the estate version comes with black roof rails.
Inside, additional equipment includes custom front sports seats, front and rear floor mats with contrasting red stitching and a cherry red centre console to match the bright red paintwork.
Special Monte Carlo pedals, a multi-function sports steering wheel and pearl grey roof lining round off the interior features, along with a Bolero infotainment system and 6.5-inch touchscreen.
Supporting DAB radio, Bluetooth and a SmartLink system which can mirror phone apps on the touchscreen, the Fabia Monte Carlo also comes with air con and forward emergency braking.
Power comes courtesy of the same engines as the standard Fabia range, with three petrol and two diesel engines ranging between 1.0-litre and 1.4-litre in size.
A choice of both five-speed manual or seven-speed automatic gearboxes are available, with the most powerful engine being the 109bhp 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol.
Meanwhile, the 1.4-litre turbocharged diesel engine is the most frugal, capable of returning up to 78.6mpg, according to Skoda’s figures, with just 93g/km of CO2.
Priced between £14,645 and £18,740, the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo is available to order now, with first deliveries expected to arrive this September.
