Rare Ferrari Sergio Goes on the Market for £3.8 Million

Going on general sale for the first time, the extremely rare Ferrari Sergio could be yours for just over £3.8 million.

Going on general sale for the first time, the extremely rare Ferrari Sergio could be yours for €4.3 million (just over £3.8 million in sterling).

Originally, the car was released as a concept in 2013 in honour of the late Sergio Pininfarina – a renowned car designer who led the design on numerous Ferraris and ran a design firm and coach builder under his own name.

Eventually, coach builders Pininfarina produced a production version of the car based on the 458 Spider but significantly limited the numbers to only six.

As is commonly the case with Ferrari, the Italian manufacturer were selective about who bought the cars and buyers were given the opportunity to buy one by invitation only. Sergio models were delivered to special clientele all around the world including the US, Middle-East, Asia and Europe.

While the Sergio was originally unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the car for sale is described as having been built in 2015 with European specs and it boasts a bumblebee black and yellow paint job. With only 73 miles on the clock, this unique vehicle of motoring excellence will be a fine addition to an avid collector’s garage.

The car has been listed on the luxury goods website JamesEdition by Dutch car dealership Carlink and comes with an asking price of €4.3 million.
