Renault Captur has a new look for 2017

The Renault Captur has been given a facelift for 2017 and the updated compact crossover will be shown off to the public at this year's Geneva Motor Show.

Renault has revealed an updated design for its Captur mini SUV which will make its first public appearance at next week’s Geneva Motor Show. As well as sporting an updated look, the 2017 Renault Captur crossover gets an upgraded equipment line-up.

Changes to the Captur’s exterior are fairly subtle overall but do include some details that make the car more reminiscent of recent Renaults launched like the larger Kadjar and the latest Scenic and Megane.

Highlights include new skid plates on the front and rear bumpers, the C-shaped running lights on the front bumpers alone and a chrome strip added to the grille. Depending on trim level, the Captur also features a fixed glass roof.

A two-tone body colour is still an option and there are now more colours to choose from for the roof and the rest of the body. In total, there are now 36 different colour combinations that customers can have. Full LED headlights also joins the options list.

More details on engines and specifications will be announced when the Captur makes its public debut in Geneva. Pricing is expected to be similar to the pre-facelift Captur, which currently begins at £14,945.
