Renault has reintroduced its scrappage initiative, allowing customers to trade in older vehicles for discounts on a new car.
With the full range available to receive reductions, customers need to trade in a vehicle from any manufacturer registered before December 31, 2011, and have owned it for 90 days to be eligible for the offer.
The largest saving can be found on the all-electric Zoe, which gets a £5,000 discount thanks to the scheme – and when paired to the government’s plug-in grant of £4,500, customers get £9,500 off a new model. That brings the starting price for a Zoe down to £13,420 – a great offer for the most popular electric car in Europe.
Renault recently introduced the faster Zoe R110 motor that provides better performance and includes a realistic range of 186 miles. Customers will receive a free charging wall box when the Zoe.
