Ibiza – from £17,955
The Ibiza has been a part of Seat’s line-up since 1984, and now in its fifth generation, it remains as relevant as ever. It’s the Spanish firm’s most affordable model and is one of the best superminis on the market.
The 355-litre boot is a fantastic size for such a compact model, while the Ibiza continues to offer a particularly stylish design and enjoyable driving experience. Available with a range of small petrol engines, these offer a great combination of performance and efficiency.
Leon – from £22,515
Another key player in Seat’s line-up is the Leon. Based on the Volkswagen Golf, it’s an ideal small family car that excels in all the areas that matter. It’s got a practical boot and lots of rear seat space.
Available with a choice of petrol engines and very efficient diesel engines, fuel-saving mild-hybrid technology is available on the 1.0- and 1.5-litre petrol units. The Leon offers a smart design that helps the car to stand out further, with a key detail being the full-length LED light bar at the rear.
Leon Estate – from £23,800
If you want a practical car, but aren’t sold on the idea of an SUV, Seat’s Leon Estate is most definitely worth a look. With its increased dimensions, this model’s boot measures a huge 620 litres – a vast improvement on the 380 litres you get with the regular Leon hatchback.
However, it remains great to drive – particularly in the sportier FR trim level – and impressive value for money as you’ll struggle to find a new estate car for less. Standard equipment is generous too, including an 8.25-inch touchscreen, LED front and rear lights and keyless entry.
Arona – from £20,960
SUVs now account for the majority of Seat’s sales, and its best-selling product these days is the Arona. This compact crossover rivals the Nissan Juke and stands out with its eye-catching design.
Available in a range of trim levels, it’s the FR versions that are the most eye-catching with their sportier styling kit. The Arona is also good to drive, practical and – as part of a 2021 update – now boasts a more upmarket interior than before.
Ateca – from £26,395
Seat’s first SUV was the Ateca and this mid-size model continues to be a great choice today, even though the competition is fierce. The Ateca is a perfect family car thanks to its spacious and flexible interior and it also comes equipped with plenty of safety equipment as well.
It drives remarkably well for an SUV too, while the level of standard equipment is superb – including an 8.25-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration, an eight-inch digital dial display, keyless entry and self-parking functionality.
Tarraco – from £32,255
Sitting at the top of the Seat line-up is the Tarraco. Now that the Alhambra MPV is no more, it’s the firm’s only seven-seater and is an ideal choice for larger families or those wanting the bonus of additional seating.
It still retains Seat’s stylish design, though, while it's among one of the best large SUVs on the market to drive. A broad choice of petrol and diesel engines are also offered, with four-wheel-drive available on plenty of versions.
