Skoda Citigo Black Edition on sale now

The Skoda Citigo has a new trim level, called the Black Edition. It's on sale now in the UK and priced from £9,990.

Skoda has expanded its Citigo range with the launch of a new Black Edition, which adds some unique styling features and extra technology to the affordable city car.

In the Citigo range, the new Black Edition bridges the gap between the SE trim and the Monte Carlo special edition.

The Citigo Black Edition sports either a Deep Black or Candy White exterior paint job, depending on customer preference, as well as 15-inch Black Auriga alloy wheels.

Other standard exterior features for the Black Edition include rear tinted glass and body-coloured door mirrors.

Inside, the Citigo Black Edition comes with an infotainment device as standard which features sat-nav, Bluetooth connectivity and a multimedia player. Also standard is manual air conditioning, electric front windows and a height-adjustable driver seat.

Also included is the Citigo Entertainment pack which adds four additional loudspeakers and a multimedia holder in the centre console – good for holding devices like mobile phones or iPods.

The engine used for the Black Edition is the same 59bhp 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol unit available for all other trims in the Citigo line-up. This engine returns an official average fuel economy of 62.8mpg.

On sale now, the Citigo Black Edition is priced from £9,990 for the three-door version or from £10,340 for the five-door model.
