Skoda range 2022: What’s available?

Skoda now incorporates a wide number of options within its line-up

Skoda has gone from strength to strength in recent years, introducing a wide-ranging line-up of cars that appeals to all manner of drivers. From compact city cars to SUVs and fully electric vehicles, Skoda’s range is now more varied than ever.

Here, we’re going to take a look through what Skoda currently has to offer and what each model brings to the table.

Fabia

The Fabia is Skoda’s smallest model, but that doesn’t mean it’s lacking in features. It’s larger than the car it replaces, so it’s got a lot more room inside than you might expect, while inside it packs some of the Volkswagen Group’s latest technology.

Plus, it’s available with a series of efficient engines, with the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit being an impressively frugal option. Skoda has recently added a sporty Monte Carlo edition to the range, too.

Scala

The Scala is positioned for those drivers who just want a little more space than the Fabia, but don’t want to step up to the much larger Octavia. It sits on Volkswagen’s latest MQB platform, which gives it plenty of interior space as well as a really impressive 467-litre boot.

All cars come with a healthy amount of equipment as standard, with all models gaining air conditioning, cruise control and rear parking sensors from the off.

Octavia

The Octavia is one of Skoda’s core models and has been for some time now. There’s a good reason why it’s so popular; it has boatloads of space available in what is still a relatively compact bodystyle. Available as both a hatch and an estate, the Octavia is a car that’ll no doubt prove a hit with all manner of drivers.

Plus, Skoda offers a sporty vRS model - available as both petrol and diesel - which adds some extra performance to the Octavia.

Superb

The Superb is Skoda’s largest model outside of its range of SUVs, making it the go-to choice for those drivers who are after the most amount of space possible. Even in hatch layout, it offers a huge boot, but the estate variant is even more spacious.

The Superb’s refinement is something that really shines through, however, with this quiet and comfortable model being a great pick for long-distance drivers.

Kamiq

Acting as Skoda’s smallest SUV, the Kamiq packs everything that the firm offers with its larger models but on a smaller scale. It has a premium-feeling interior and loads of standard equipment, with its rugged build quality meaning that it’ll easily stand up to daily use.

But like others on this list, it has loads of kit included as standard, with all models getting Bluetooth connectivity and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration.

Karoq

The Karoq is Skoda’s mid-size SUV and is one of its most popular models. Despite being positioned in what is a very contested segment, the Karoq remains one of the frontrunners thanks to its well-made cabin and easy driving style.

It has recently been given an update, bringing a redesigned exterior while you can now get a new ‘Eco’ interior which incorporates sustainable materials.

Kodiaq

The Kodiaq sits atop Skoda’s range of SUVs as the largest in the range. This capable seven-seater has acres of space, while four-wheel-drive versions bring added all-weather capability and traction.

It’s available with a variety of specifications, too, but equipment levels are really impressive across the board.

Enyaq iV

The Enyaq iV might not be the firm’s first electric model, but it has been one of the most impactful. Sitting atop Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform means it has plenty in common with cars like the Volkswagen ID.3 and Cupra Born, but has a number of touches that are typically Skoda.

It still comes with a range of ‘Simply Clever’ features, while large-battery versions can deliver up to 333 miles of range. There’s also a sleek Coupe version for those drivers who would like a slightly more dynamic-looking model.
