Toyota C-HR receives Design trim update for 2018

The stylish crossover has been given a new specification that adds equipment, design tweaks and a new body colour.

After its release at the end of 2016, the Toyota C-HR has become one of the brand’s best-sellers and is now receiving a new trim level.

The Design specification is focused towards “style and on-board comfort and convenience” and comes with extra equipment and an additional bold body colour.

Exterior features include sporty 18-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, auto-folding heated wing mirrors, entry lights and keyless entry with push-button start. The Cyan Blue body colour has also been added, which can be used as the sole colour or in combination with a contrasting roof.

The front seats come with heating and power-adjustable lumbar support, and the centre piece of the cockpit is the Toyota Touch 2 infotainment system, which comes with satellite navigation and online services.

Models also come with front and rear parking sensors, intelligent park assist and a reversing camera, as well as dual-zone automatic climate control and Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance technology.

Toyota has also modified the Excel, Dynamic and Icon trims, with Excel models now receiving black leather upholstery and rear LED lights and the Dynamic spec adding matt-black alloy wheels, black fabric upholstery and silver dashboard trim.

Icon models can receive the Tech Pack option that adds smart entry, blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure alert with steering assist and auto-folding mirrors.
