Toyota launches new limited-run GR Supra Jarama Racetrack Edition

Toyota’s sports car gets a range of exclusive details

Toyota has revealed a new limited-run version of its Supra sports car – the Jarama Racetrack Edition.

Based on the flagship Supra model, it comes with a 3.0-litre straight-six engine under the bonnet, producing 335bhp and 500Nm of torque. That allows it to reach 60mph in just 4.1 seconds.

Just 30 versions of the new Jarama Racetrack model will come to the UK, with the models getting their name from the Spanish circuit where the model was launched back in 2019.

It’s signalled by its unique Horizon Blue paintwork, along with matte black 19-inch alloy wheels, along with red brake callipers.

Inside it comes with new carbon-fibre detailing – including a strip that says the model’s build number, while also coming with black Alcantara seats with blue stitching.

As with the standard Supra, it comes with a generous amount of standard kit, including a 10-inch touchscreen with smartphone integration, a 10-speaker sound system and an impressive set of digital dials. It also gets Toyota’s acclaimed ‘Safety+’ package, which brings features such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and traffic sign recognition.

No prices for the new Jarama Racetrack Edition have yet been announced, but expect a slight rise on the regular model’s £53,655 starting price to account for the additional details.
