Fiat has revised its Talento van for the 2020 model year, with the mid-size machine benefiting from new engines and an improved interior.
For 2020, Fiat has introduced a new 2.0-litre EcoJet diesel engine, which is cleaner and offers better performance than the 1.6-litre engine it replaces. Buyers can choose to have it with outputs of 118bhp, 143bhp or 168bhp. Stop/start technology is also fitted as standard, which helps to drive down harmful emissions.
The inside is the second area which has benefitted from a host of changes. Dependent on trim level, the Talento comes with new silver or gloss black interior accents, while Fiat has also now made Bluetooth and a DAB radio standard on the van – an improvement for the base and SX models.
Higher spec Tecnico and Sportiv models add a seven-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The Talento remains available with a number of different bodytypes – crew cabs, low roof and high roof, for example. It offers between 5.2 and 8.6 cubic meters of load space, along with a payload up to 1,258kg. All versions can carry three Euro pallets.
