Vauxhall has released pricing and specification for the latest Combo van, which is available for customers to buy now.
The new version of the small panel van starts from £15,630 excl. VAT and can be fitted with advanced safety systems as well as fuel-efficient petrol and diesel engines.
Coming with a refreshed design, the Combo is available in four trim levels – Edition, Sportive, LE Nav and Crewvan – with base-level models receiving under-seat and overhead storage, 15-inch wheels, a kerbside sliding door, a five-inch display with DAB radio and Bluetooth, one-touch electric windows and heated, electrically-adjustable wing mirrors.
Sportive versions gain larger alloy wheels, air conditioning, rear parking sensors, cruise control with speed limiter and security alarm, while LE Nav gains an eight-inch touchscreen with sat-nav, side protection mouldings and a front skid plate.
The Crewvan spec – which is suited for carrying people – gains a fold-flat front seat and a protective bag to help accommodate longer loads and protect the interior, while a moveable caged bulkhead is also fitted.
Safety systems on offer include lane keep assist, forward collision alert with pedestrian detection, drowsiness alert, traffic sign recognition and autonomous emergency braking, as well as the segment-first surround view monitor and flank guard.
Customers have the choice of three engines, each offering two states of tune – a 1.6-litre and 1.5-litre diesel or a 1.2-litre petrol – with the petrol offerings unavailable to customers until the second half of next year. Six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic options are provided for the 1.5-litre diesel, while the 1.6-litre option only comes with a five-speed manual.
Available in two body sizes, the new Combo can have up to 4,400 litres of storage space and carry up to 1,050kg of weight.
