Volkswagen has revealed pricing for the Amarok Aventura special edition, which comes with unique features and a distinctive look.
Available to order now and priced from £39,960, the Aventura model comes with an exclusive trim to make it the most premium version of the pick-up ever.
As standard, this special edition comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, a body-coloured sports bar with Aventura badging, chrome-plated side bars with step and LED spot lighting.
It’s not just cosmetic additions though, as the Aventura also comes with under-body cladding, power-folding mirrors and protective coating for the load bay – proving that this special edition is still up to the job as a regular pick-up.
Available with a wide variety of colours, Volkswagen is offering the Aventura with matte paint at reduced cost – with the Ravenna Blue and Indium Grey finishes costing £2,335 – and mountain top roll covers also available in black or silver as a £1,387.50 optional extra.
The interior is fitted with 14-way adjustment ErgoComfort seats trimmed in Nappa leather, a leather multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifts, Volkswagen’s Discover Media Navigation system and exclusive floor mats.
The pick-up also features the Lights and Vision package, which adds automatic headlights, daytime running lights, the coming home lighting feature and rain sensor for windscreen wiper control, as well as front fog lights with cornering function.
Under the bonnet is the Amarok’s most powerful engine – a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine developing 255bhp and 580Nm of torque. With its overboost function, the engine produces 268bhp.
The unit is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and permanent 4Motion all-wheel drive.
