Volkswagen opens T-Cross First Edition orders

250 units of this limited edition will be available in the UK, with the rest of the T-Cross models offered from March.

To celebrate the release of its latest model, Volkswagen has launched the T-Cross First Edition.

The model joins the market as the German brand’s smallest SUV and this limited edition offers a high-end specification.

All of the 250 units available to UK customers come with a 1.0-litre 113bhp petrol engine with a six-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive – as well as front assist with autonomous braking, blind spot sensors, adaptive cruise control and lane assist.

Standard kit also includes a 300-watt beats audio sound system, the Discover Media infotainment system and LED headlights, as well as a white exterior, silver roof rails, black detailing and 18-inch alloy wheels. An exclusive decal is also added to the C-pillar.

Claire Haynes, T-Cross product manager, said: “The T-Cross is an exciting new addition to the growing Volkswagen SUV range, and there’s no better way to introduce it to the UK than offering something even more special to early customers.
