The Goodwood Festival of Speed is here, with thousands of enthusiasts set to flock to the Sussex countryside to see some of the greatest cars the world has seen — both new and old.

Launch of the GT MkII 

Ford has kicked off its appearance at Goodwood with the unveiling of the new GT MkII. This track-only machine is a whole other level from the road car on which it’s based — with more power, less weight and a huge increase in downforce. It looks to be a real weapon.

Focus ST makes UK debut

There are no doubts that enthusiasts in the UK will be eagerly awaiting the arrival of the latest Ford Focus ST, and the hot hatch is set to make its dynamic debut at the Festival of Speed this weekend. If you’re there, keep an eye out for it on the hill climb.

Ranger Raptor showcase

It may not yet be on the UK market, but the Ford Ranger Raptor is looking to cook up a storm at this year’s Festival of Speed. The beefed-up 4x4’s capabilities will be showcased at the hands of stunt driver Paul Swift in the Goodwood Off-Road Arena.

Puma makes public debut

Last week, Ford revealed its new Puma to the world, and it will now be on show at Goodwood over the weekend. The Fiesta-based crossover looks set to be a huge sales success with bags of style, impressive technology and cutting-edge mild-hybrid powertrains.
