Hyundai to unveil high-performance RN30 concept at Paris

Hyundai will reveal a high-performance, i30 hatchback-based RN30 concept at the Paris Motor Show this year.

Hyundai is to unveil a new high-performance N concept alongside its new-generation i30 and i10 models at this year’s Paris Motor Show.

The RN30 concept is based on the Hyundai i30 hatchback, although it sits lower and has a wider stance to enable greater stability when driving enthusiastically.

The new RN30 concept has been developed in collaboration with Hyundai Motorsport (HMSG), Hyundai Motor’s Performance Development & High Performance Vehicle Division and Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Centre (HMETC).

Hyundai says: “The motorsport-inspired racing concept is developed to deliver passion and pleasure on the track for everybody.”

Currently, all we have to go off is a concept sketch, although it is clear from the image above that the new N concept will mirror the silhouette of the i30 hatchback and feature an aggressive body kit.

The new Hyundai RN30 concept will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show on September 29th.
