With owners of vehicles built before Euro 5 emissions standards being encouraged to part-exchange their vehicles for cleaner models, Suzuki is offering discounts on and a wide range of vehicles. What is the Suzuki Scrappage Scheme?

The Suzuki scrappage scheme is allowing customers to trade in their pre-Euro 5 emissions standards vehicles for a new vehicle that complies with the Euro 6 standards. Models such as the Swift, Baleno and Celerio are all on offer in the scheme.

The Suzuki scrappage scheme offers a discount of up to £2,000 across the range, including its range-topping Vitara S models.

What new cars can you buy?

The Suzuki scrappage scheme is allowing customers to trade in their pre-Euro 5 emissions standards vehicles for a new vehicle that complies with the Euro 6 standards. Models such as the Swift, Baleno and Celerio are all on offer in the scheme.

All of Suzuki’s current models are available in its scrappage scheme, including the entry-level Celerio, Ignis and brand-new Swift.

Suzuki Scrappage Scheme: what cars can you trade in?

In order to be eligible for the Suzuki Scrappage Scheme, the vehicle you are trading in must be:

  • Registered by the 31st of December 2009.
  • Owned by you for at least 90 days
  • Meets Euro-4 Emissions or earlier

When does the Suzuki’s Scrappage Scheme end?

Suzuki’s scrappage scheme has been extended until 31st March 2018.

In order to qualify for the Suzuki scrappage incentive, terms and conditions will apply.

  • Suzuki Scrappage allowance enables you to receive up to £2000 off the VAT inclusive price of the new Suzuki models detailed below when you trade-in any make or model of passenger car, first registered in the UK on or before 31/12/2009 which has a Euro 1-4 emission standard engine. £1000 off Celerio, Ignis and Jimny models and £2000 off Swift, Baleno, Vitara, Vitara S and SX4 S-Cross models. Offer excludes Celerio City and entry grade models
  • Retail customers only. Participating dealerships only. Offer subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Check with your local dealership for details. Not available in conjunction with any other offer, including finance deals. Trade-in vehicle must have been registered in owner’s name for minimum 90 days and new vehicle must be first registered with the same Registered Keeper details in the V5 document. Offer available in the UK only.
